A JOURNEY INWARD
Himalayan Moments
The rhythms of the valley, reimagined for the soul.
There is no fixed itinerary here. Some guests spend three days without leaving the orchard. Others are on a trail by seven in the morning. Most end up doing both — and somewhere in between, find what they actually came for.
MOUNTAIN RETREAT
The mountains here are not a backdrop. They are where the day actually happens.
Seol Nature Walk
From ShivAdya, a short drive takes you to Soel — a small, hidden settlement tucked into the PirPanjal mountains. From here the trail goes entirely through Himalayan jungle, quiet and canopied, following a forest path to the Haripur stream. The walk continues to Dashal village where traditional Kath Kuni houses line the path, a centuries-old gharat watermill still turns, and an 11th century Shiva temple sits exactly where it has always sat. For those who want to understand what this land actually is.
3 to 4 hours — Easy to Moderate
From ₹3,000 per couple
Vishnu Temple & Sajla Waterfall
Two kilometres from ShivAdya, Sajla village is home to a Vishnu temple that has anchored this valley for generations. Beyond it, through thick pine forest, is the waterfall. The kind that makes you stop talking. You walk back through orchards and open fields. One of the most complete mornings you can have from the property — forest, heritage, and water, in that order.
2 to 3 hours — Easy
From ₹2,000 per couple
Mountain Biking
Mountain bikes are available at the resort for rides ranging from a short loop to Haripur village to longer routes toward Naggar. For those who want more, a guided biking trip with a backup vehicle can be arranged to Jana, Naggar, or Bijli Mahadev. Bike rides can also be combined with a night camping excursion for those who want to take it further.
Half day to full day — Moderate to Challenging
From ₹6,500 per couple
ORCHARD & ESTATE
Slow down long enough and the orchard starts to feel like yours.
Nature Walk — Orchards & Fields
The walk starts at the resort and moves through apple orchards and open fields, following trails that most guests never find on their own. Depending on the season, the orchards are in blossom, heavy with fruit, or bare and cold against the mountains. Villagers are out working in the fields most of the day. This is what Karjan village actually looks like when you slow down enough to see it.
60 to 90 minutes — Easy
From ₹2,000 per couple
Karjan Village Story Walk
Karjan is one of the largest villages in the Kullu valley, sitting at 1,830 metres at the base of a mountain thick with deodar forest. This walk takes you through it — past traditional Kath Kuni houses, through lanes where people actually live, to the temple of the village goddess Docha Mocha. No curation, no performance. Just the village as it is.
60 to 90 minutes — Easy
From ₹1,500 per couple
Forest & Orchard Picnic Lunch
Choose your setting — a clearing in the deodar forest, beside a fast-moving Himalayan stream, or deep in the apple orchard when the fruit is on the branches. We arrange the lunch, you arrange the conversation. The kind of afternoon that is very hard to explain to people who weren't there.
Half day — Easy
From ₹5,000 per couple
DINING EXPERIENCES
Food here is not an afterthought.

ON REQUEST
Candlelit Dinner in the Orchard
Dinner laid out in the apple orchard after dark, with the Milky Way directly overhead and the Dhauladhar sitting quiet in the distance. Arranged entirely on request. The kind of evening most guests mention first when they talk about their stay.
Himachali Cooking Class
An informal session in the kitchen learning to make siddu and momos — Himachali dishes that take patience, technique, and flour on your hands. For Himachali cooking specifically, the founder conducts the class himself. He takes three to four hours and gives it his full attention. You will leave knowing how to make something real.
ON REQUEST
Garden Bonfire
On clear evenings, a bonfire in the garden. No music, no programme. Just fire, open sky, and whoever you came with.
